john robshaw quilts
Did you know that the traditional 2nd anniversary gift is cotton? I’ve been thinking about replacing our heavy down comforter with a new cotton quilt for the summer; perhaps I should take a page out of Jen Mankins‘s book and splurge on John Robshaw bedding. There are several bed collections that I love, like Tripoli and Pewter, but the price points are a bit high for my budget. Can anybody suggest any lower-priced alternatives to John Robshaw quilts?

so funny, for our second anniversary I had wanted to make adam (and i) a quilt. . . though now practically a month away — less likely :/
What John Robshaw does is so very special. He has essentially taken the Jaipuri quilt and made it with his own modern designs. Jaipuri quilts are exquisitely soft and cotton through and through. I would suggest you search for Jaipuri quilts on ebay or do a simple google search. As for my dream, take a look at Brigitte Singh’s designs. One of her quilts is my dream (alas she is far more pricey than John Robshaw.)
