Super cute! I used to have a sweatshirt when I was 8 or so; it was of pussy willows. Instead of white puffs on the twigs, there were cute cartoon kittens. It was one of my fav tops when I was a kid.
I wore it to my piano lesson one week, and my (crotchety) teacher said “What are THOSE!?” I said, weakly, “Pussy willows…?” And she said crankily “Oh, I thought it was dandruff.”
Hadn’t thought of that in a long time… hilarious! Thanks for the walk down memory lane
