Thanks to Modish, I discovered this morning a new photographer on Etsy, Courage My Love. I love the muted colors and the somber mood of Madelyn’s photos.
I’m debating which of these two photographs to buy. They would both look beautiful in my office with its dill pickle-colored walls.
pearl and marmalade
I think Pearl and Marmalade’s 5″x7″ Amidst Routes Letterpress Print would look fantastic in my living room. The grey and mustard inks would compliment the colors of my walls and couch.
In the new year, I plan on doing a series of before & afters of decorating my new (old) house. We have a long way to go until it’s finished, but, so far, I’m really happy with the direction it’s headed.

perfection equals misery
I should print this illustration by Jody Barton and hang it every room of my house. My perfectionism definitely adds a dash of misery to my otherwise happy life. It’s a habit I would love to be able to break.
