freshlyblended and lara cameron journals

I used to write in my diary religiously. Lately, with all of the blogging and twittering I do online, I very rarely sit down with a notebook and pen to jot down all of the thoughts floating around my head. However, if I had one of these limited edition handbound journals ($25) by freshlyblended press and Lara Cameron, I might just make the time to journal once again.

Each 5×7 inch journal features original illustrations from Lara Cameron hand silk-screened on 100% organic fabric with a custom bookplate and Italian cotton ribbon book marker from Angela Liguori at Carta Inc.

Check them out at freshlyblended’s Etsy shop — they are limited edition items and sure to sell out quickly. And in case you were interested, this pattern is my favorite!

fabulous stationery sale

Fabulous Stationery‘s Stripes Sale ends tomorrow at midnight. You can order a box of 25 personalized cards featuring their classic stripes designs for just $25 (that’s $10 off the original price). Use them as thank you cards, invitations or couples cards.

I’m really digging the green and blue combo from the Stripes 2 series. I think I’d personalize them with my new last name.

places i’ve never been

JHill Design‘s paper line, Places I’ve Never Been, features bold patterns and designs representing different locations around the world that designer Jennifer Hill has only visited in her imagination. Her drawings are inspired by what she’s read or heard about these places.

Jennifer’s looking for inspiration for designs for her 2010 calendar. You could win a gift pack of notebooks, note cards, a 2008 wall calendar and a 2009 desk calendar just by sending Jennifer your ideas on locations she should consider. Email her at pihnb@jhilldesign.com by August 1 to qualify. Three random winners will be picked after the 1st.

My ideas (a totally random mix): Jerusalem, Sydney, Cairns/Great Barrier Reef, Dubai, Amsterdam… and Omaha, of course!

What would you suggest? What’s the most exotic place you’ve ever been? Comment below!

After receiving and reading one of her cards, which are available on her Etsy site, you can actually plant it rather than let it become clutter in your home.
