I adore these vases from Feinedinge, which means “fine thing” in German. Ceramist Sandra Haischberger handcrafts these pieces in her Vienna studio. (via More Ways to Waste Time)

Beware of phony CNN email alerts. I actually have a bunch of them in my Spam folder right now. I’m so glad I didn’t open them; they contain a link that will infect your computer with the Storm Worm virus. (via Simply Stated)

I stumbled upon a gorgeous design blog, Katiedid. The Wayfarer’s Chapel reminds me of the Holy Family Shrine in Gretna, NE, which I visited with Krissy when she was here in May.

How About Orange posted a link to a quiz that determines your style based on the photos you choose in response to various questions. I took it twice. The first time I was “City Chic,” and the second time I was “Sleek Chic.” At least the “Chic” part remained consistent! I don’t really think I’m minimalistic enough to quality as “Sleek Chick,” though.

Here’s the description: Visitors are probably surprised by what lies beyond your front door: it just goes to show that appearances can be deceptive The minimal look, so often associated with loft-style living, can be pulled off behind the most unlikely facades, although it requires great discipline, both in terms of how you furnish your home and how you live your life. Everything has to be precise, spot-on, for in a minimalist home just one false move and the impact is lost completely.
