when you are in dorsoduro (I think that is where it is), you may want to check out the Peggy Guggenheim house/museum there. it is my favorite guggenheim!
have so much fun.
where you are staying? We haven’t booked any of our hotels yet (EEK!).
What an incredible place for a honeymoon!!! Take it all in, walk around holding hands and absorb it all!!!
Erica–We went to Peggy Guggenheim’s, and I loved it! Not just the art, but her whole life story. Now I want to read her memoir!
Amanda–In Venice we stayed at the Westin Europa & Regina (that was our splurge hotel). In Florence, we were at Hotel Perseo. That might have been our favorite of the three. We stayed at the Target Inn in Rome. I have mixed feelings about that one. Was the cheapest of the bunch, though!
I checked out hotel reviews on Tripadvisor.com when I was making my plans. I’ll be writing reviews of the three we stayed at… eventually!
