Do I need a pair of white jeans this summer? White pants have always scared me; I’ve always been afraid of sitting on something nasty or spilling something on myself. But they’re so chic. And I suppose bleach can take care of any stains or spots I might acquire, right? (Though bleach has always scared me a little bit, too.)
Your thoughts on white jeans?

I got a pair of white linen-ish pants from the Gap. I wore them yesterday in honor of our 100 degree day. I felt very comfortable in them – however – I was a little worried about the fact that you can see the pockets through the pants — because the pockets are white (some genius needs to make white pants with nude colored fabric for the inside part of the pockets) and I though maybe people would think they could see through the pants (but I looked long and hard and you can’t REALLY see through them). You could completely avoid this problem with white jeans — though, aren’t they going to be really hot?
I also would love a pair of white jeans. However, I have been mystifyingly unable to actually find a good pair. Which is odd, because I feel like they are big this season. But all of the pairs I have found have either been extremely wide leg or extremely skinny leg. Sigh.
I LOVE my white jeans. Such fun for summer. I got mine from Jcrew a few summers ago. Love them.
I have white pants! I love white pants. But, like Ali, you can see the pockets and sorta your drawals through em. But I can’t see my own bum, so I ignore that.
White jeans frighten me because they bring me back to 1991, a bad year for Young Oxen Style. But you have legs up to your chin, so you can pull of most anything.
