I’ve got to get myself a tube of NARS Jungle Red lipstick like the model here is wearing. I love it… but I wonder how it would look with my new red hair…

We found these two mini-muffins sitting on our stoop the other day–no note, no nothing. Just two mini-muffins on a decorative napkin. Needless to say, we did not eat them.

I adore this plate by Little Flower Designs (via Modish).

I’d like to get my hands on a copy of this book.

Perhaps I should also add this book to my reading list.

Oh, how I wish I could attend this sample sale.

Gorgeous rugs by Amy Butler for Chandra.

When I’m alone in the kitchen, I usually eat a bowl of cereal–or skip dinner and go straight for dessert!

I’d love to renew my vows every five years.

Only men can get away with this.

An amazing before & after transformation.

Good thought.

The fence…

is…

up!

Friends and family, have you been reading my posts on Elizabeth Anne Designs Living? I think you will find my most recent contribution enjoyable.

It’s only taken 9 months, but we’re actually–finally–building a fence in our backyard. In the next couple of days, the dog will have complete freedom to run like a maniac, chasing rabbits and birds. Today the fence company came to install the posts. Tomorrow or Thursday, after we have a couple of trees and tree stumps removed, they’ll be back to complete the project.

We have a white hydrangea tree in the backyard. I don’t know much about plants, flowers or gardening, but I do know that what we have growing back there is indeed a hydrangea tree. Google told me so.

I haven’t been taking very many photographs lately, and I miss it. So, with nothing else on my afternoon agenda, I walked around the tree with my camera, happily shooting away. I would love to take a photography class to get better at my craft. (That feels funny, calling it my craft. But I don’t paint or draw or sew or design, so photography is the only craft I’ve got. Oh, and knitting. I knit a bit, too.)

Briscoe watched me from the back door, wondering why he couldn’t come outside and play along side me. Soon, pup, we’ll have a fence back there, and you can romp around to your heart’s delight!

Last night Jamie came over for dinner, and, with my help, J prepared a delicious eggplant parmesan using an enormous Italian Eggplant that we bought over the weekend at the Farmers Market. Going to the Farmers Market Saturday mornings has quickly become one of my favorite things to do over the weekends. You just feel so healthy buying such beautiful locally produced vegetables and, occasionally, meat.
