I’ve been writing about myself since I received my first diary at the tender age of seven. At Boston University, I occasionally submitted first-person narrative pieces as well as hard and soft news stories to my college newspaper, The Daily Free Press, while working towards my degree in Mass Communication (magna cum laude). I spent six years in publicity and public relations before leaving the industry a week before my May 25, 2008 wedding in order to pursue new adventures.
My husband, J, is in the military. We have a Maltipoochon (Maltese + Poodle + Bichon Frise) pup named Briscoe, who we rescued from the Nebraska Humane Society a couple of months after we got married.
In addition to Somewhere in Middle America, I write for other blogs and websites. I was an original blogger for AOL’s Lemondrop and later became a contributor. I’ve also written about crafting for CraftStylish and currently contribute posts about my married life to Elizabeth Anne Designs Living.
