About Me | SIMA

I’ve been writing regularly since I received my first diary at the tender age of seven. At Boston University, I occasionally wrote for my college newspaper, The Daily Free Press, while working towards my degree in Mass Communication (magna cum laude). I  spent six years in publicity and public relations before leaving the industry a week before my May 25, 2008 wedding in order to pursue new adventures.

In addition to Somewhere in Middle America, I also blog for other websites. If you’d like to hire me for a freelance assignment, please contact me at pj [at] somewhereinmiddleamerica [dot] com.

Somewhere in Middle America is essentially my personal blog, but I love to highlight some of my favorite home accessories. While I don’t officially accept submissions, please feel free to send me information about your products. You never know — you could wind up on the blog!
