With a heavy heart, I bring you my final blog post for Lemondrop: Is 2009 the Year I Become a Better Military Wife? Sadly, Lemondrop has decided to phase out its storyline bloggers (or maybe just me, who knows).  This is a huge disappointment as I’ve loved the experience of writing for a larger audience than this lil’ blog here.

I hope to continue contributing articles to Lemondrop, and now that I’ll have some extra time I’d love to branch out and write for additional publications and websites. That said, if you are looking for a freelance writer/blogger, please drop me a line! I’m very cheap.

(Ahem, “That’s what she said.”)

Thanks for all of your support and kind words since September. It’s been a fun ride.

Please drop by Lemondrop.com and check out my latest post, “Our Little House on the (Big) Prairie,” which is all about the search for our perfect starter home.

Sadly, my blogging gig with Lemondrop will soon be coming to an end. If you enjoy my writing, I kindly beg you to leave a comment on Lemondrop so that my editors see that people like what I write. If they do, hopefully I’ll be able to continue freelancing for the site.*

Happy holidays, and thank you for being such wonderfully supportive readers.

*If you are in need of a freelance writer, please contact me at pamelajaye[at]gmail[dot]com. I can do hard and soft news pieces and public relations material, including press releases. And, of course, I love writing about myself.

My latest Lemondrop blog post, “How I Survived My Husband’s First Deployment,” is live. As always, I’d love for you to check it out and leave your comments on Lemondrop. Let my editors see that people actually read what I write!

Do you have a loved one in the military? If so, what helped you to get through his or her deployment? I’d love to know!

thnx, PJ
